This website is operated by The Meyer Studios. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refers to The Meyer Studios. The Meyer Studios offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. Throughout the site, the terms “you”, “person” and “your” refers to the client.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current website shall also be subject to the Terms & Conditions. You can review the most current version of the Terms & Conditions at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
1. Our Services & Experience
Studio Shoot
1.1 Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21.
1.2 We offer a professional service and reserve the right to deny or cut short the ‘experience’ if any of our staff feel that a client’s behaviour, presentation or hygiene may compromise the ‘experience’ for other clients.
1.3 We do not offer childcare facilities and you are kindly requested to ensure that there is a responsible adult with you to supervise any children during the experience. We recommend that you do not bring children with you unless you have booked a Family Experience.
1.4 Please allow between 4 to 5 hours for the whole experience.
1.5 You are required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
1.6 If you do not arrive by your scheduled appointment time at the latest, your appointment cannot be guaranteed. In such cases we may provide either a shortened makeup session or cancel the appointment altogether. In the event of your appointment being cancelled by us as a result of you arriving late you will be subject to a £50 cancellation or change fee.
1.7 Free parking is available at the back of the studio and is part of the YMCA building. However, vehicles are left at the owner’s own risk. We, The Meyer Studios, cannot and do not guarantee the security of your vehicle and/or its contents.
1.8 The ‘Terms & Conditions’ of the actual studio you are attending will also apply in addition to The Meyer Studios Terms & Conditions.
On Location Shoot

1.11 We do not offer childcare facilities and you are kindly requested to ensure that there is a responsible adult with you to supervise any children during the experience. We recommend that you do not bring children with you unless you have booked a Family Experience.
1.12 Length of shoot time may vary dependent on, but not limited to, booking, location, weather, outfit changes, transportation challenges, child support.
1.13 You are required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
1.14 If you do not arrive by your scheduled appointment time at the latest, your appointment cannot be guaranteed. A £50 cancellation or change fee will apply and no guarantee of next availability.
1.15 The client will need to make their own parking arrangements.
Combo Shoot
1.16 Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21.
1.17 We offer a professional service and reserve the right to deny or cut short the ‘experience’ if any of our staff feel that a client’s behaviour, presentation or hygiene may compromise the ‘experience’ for other clients.
1.18 We do not offer childcare facilities and you are kindly requested to ensure that there is a responsible adult with you to supervise any children during the experience. We recommend that you do not bring children with you unless you have booked a Family Experience.
1.19 Please allow between 4 to 5 hours for the experience in the Studio
1.20 Length of shoot time on Location Shoot may vary dependent on, but not limited to, booking, location, weather, outfit changes, transportation challenges, child support.
1.21 You are required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
1.22 If you do not arrive by your scheduled appointment time at the latest, your appointment cannot be guaranteed. A shortened make-up session may be possible for a late arrival on a Studio Shoot but there are no guarantees. A £50 cancellation or change fee will apply and no guarantee for the next available shoot.
1.23 The client will need to make their own arrangements for the On Location Shoots. For the Studio Shoots, free parking is available at the back of the studio and is part of the YMCA building. However, vehicles are left at the owner’s own risk. We, The Meyer Studios, cannot and do not guarantee the security of your vehicle and/or its contents.
1.24 The ‘Terms & Conditions’ of the actual studio you are attending will also apply in addition to The Meyer Studios Terms & Conditions.
Wedding Shoot
1.25 Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21.
1.26 We offer a professional service and reserve the right to deny or cut short the ‘experience’ if any of our staff feel that a client’s behaviour, presentation or hygiene may compromise the ‘experience’ for our staff.
1.27 Length of shoot time will depend on the chosen package. Photographers have some flexibility, up to 30 minutes, staying longer at the venue to shoot which is to allow for any special circumstances such as weather, transportation challenges, technical glitches.
1.28 Subject to length of shoot and/or package, Photographers will be entitled to a 30 minute break.
2 Booking your shoot
2.1 You will receive confirmation of your booking by email.
2.2 Depending on your shoot, the confirmation email will provide you will every details of the shoot, from address, what to wear, what to bring with you and what to expect. The details in the confirmation email for Wedding Shoots may differ slightly but will ensure you/we have all the necessary information.
2.3 For the Studio Shoot the executive offices address is not the host studio’s location.
2.4. All packages must be paid in advance prior to the appointment. The Free Experience is excluded from this clause.
3 No Shows
3.1 If you fail to attend your appointment at the Studio or On Location Shoot, you will be required to pay a £50 penalty fee.
3.2 Prepaid packages will not incur a no-show fee but are non-refundable.
3.3. Special cases for no-show must be discussed directly with the studio at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled shoot.
4 Changing Appointments
4.1 Appointments for Studio/On Location/Combo can be changed by calling the studio on 0208 187 3525 or by emailing [email protected]
4.2 Any changes to the appointment date will be subject to a £50 fee if within 7 days of the shoot date
4.3 You are required to provide at least 7 days’ notice if you wish to change your appointment date.
4.4 If you do not provide us with at least 7 days’ notice to change your appointment date, prepaid packages will be non-refundable, however can be used towards your next available booking date. New booking date will be subject to availability.
4.5 Wedding Shoot bookings will require 45 days’ notice of shoot to make a change in order to avoid loss of 10% deposit. 30 days’ notice of shoot to avoid 50% loss of package.
4.6. Special cases for change must be discussed directly with The Meyer Studios.
4.7 If the studio has to make a change the client will not be held accountable for any fees.
5 Cancelling Appointments
5.1 Appointments for Studio/On Location/Combo Shoots can be cancelled by calling the studios on 0208 187 3525 or by emailing [email protected]
5.2 If within 7 days of the shoot, appointment cancellations are subject to a £50 fee.
5.3 If your Wedding Shoot bookings is cancelled within 45 days of the day, the deposit is non-refundable.
5.4 If your Wedding package is cancelled within 30 days of the actual day, 50% of the total package will payable
5.5 Special cases for cancellation must be discussed directly with The Meyer Studios.
5.6 If the studio has to make a cancellation the client will not be held accountable for any fees.
6 Viewing Session, Orders & Payments
6.1 If you book a Studio Shoot then you are under no obligation to purchase images from the ‘experience’. We operate a ‘no pressure’ sales policy and 100% free experience with our host studio.
6.2 The host studio will handle all aspects of the sale under The Meyer Studios Prices & Packages but their [host studio] ‘Terms & Conditions’ will be applicable on completion
6.3 Any packages purchased through a Studio Shoot with the host studio on a monthly basis are allowed up to 6 months with 0% interest additional but will require a minimum £150 deposit.
6.5 Any discounts or special offers provided at the host studio on the day of your appointment will not apply to any subsequent orders that you may place.
6.6 Copyright for all images remains with The Meyer Studios and the host studio, and images may not be reproduced in any form without permission from the above-mentioned companies. However, if you purchase any images in digital format, you will be provided with a Copyright Certificate granting permission to reproduce images as you wish.
6.7 Digital image orders will be despatched within 28 days of the appointment.
6.8 Any order placed during your viewing session at the host studio cannot be amended or cancelled.
6.9 Wedding images can take up to 45 days before being sent.
7 General
7.1 By booking an appointment with us, you are subject to these full Terms & Conditions.
7.2 Our full name is The Meyer Studios which is operating under Peter Meyer Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 9835544, whose registered address is Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, UK. All queries, complaints or suggestions should be marked for the attention of the “Director” and sent to the above address or emailed to [email protected]
